Fortunately, this shoe is pretty much the same shoe as the T6. It is a little lighter, due to a redesigned upper, but has the same firm, responsive ride as the T6. If you're looking for a great racing flat, it is hard to to go wrong with the Brooks T7.
If you are a triathlete, and you ran in the T6 sockless, you might find the T7 a little more abrasive. Unfortunately, the seams on the T7 are poorly placed and will make these a little more difficult to to run in without socks.
