| Worst Asics Ever
(2010-05-06) | Rating | These are more for fashion and less for serious running. My Asics Cumulus 10 had started to lose their cushioning after 300 miles so I needed a replacement. I researched and thought I had the perfect shoe in the 3010's. These have to be the worst shoes ever offered by Asics. They do nothing but blister my big toes and the souls of my feet. A 2W in this shoe is more like a D width and do not lace up properly. The tongue is too long much like a Kayano. I'm going to see if Eastbay will take them back and if not it will be my last pair of Asics. I'll go to a Brooks or New Balance. The Asics Gel Cumulus is a far better shoe for much less money. I'm 44 and have been running for 4 years with over 1000 documented (and 400 undocumented) miles. Average pace is 9:15 / mile. My weight is 210 and I have worn out Kayano's, Brooks Beast, Asics Cumulus's and New Balance 1061's. I have a neutral gate, high arches. (Write a review) (Reply to this review) |
