| Why change?
(2009-01-14) | Rating | The Adrenaline GTS 8 was a mighty fine shoe. Brooks decided to add more overlays to provide better forefoot stability which is not a bad thing. The problem is in the sole, specifically the BioMoGo. Compared to the previous MoGo, it has somewhat of a dead feel. The spring and responsiveness has disappeared. Also, Brooks changed the design of the heel portion that comes in contact with your achilles tendon. It feels as though this area has lost it's flexibility or suppleness. I now have a minor case of achilles tendonitis. When I switch back to the GTS 8, no problems. Overall, the shoe is nice to look at and very supportive. But this doesn't help me any if I can't wear them. (Write a review) (Reply to this review) |
