| Great shoe. Better than the DS-15s. But wear-out quickly.
(2009-12-24) |
Rating | I really like these shoes. The new 15s are nowhere as comfortable -the toe box is too big and the sole is wider for some odd reason. My only problem is wear. In order to make them as light as they are Asics had to use light-weight rubber, hence my complaint about low mileage. (Write a review) (Reply to this review) |

| What wonderful shoes
(2009-05-09) |
Rating | I had the 14s for a few weeks now and love them. Even on my longer runs (up to 18 miles now), they provide enough support and cushioning to keep me from hurting in my knees or in my feet. I'll buy another pair soon and use them in the marathon I'm training for. (Write a review) (Reply to this review) |

| Wonderful fit, nice and light
(2009-03-30) |
Rating | These shoes are wonderful. They couldn't fit better if they were custom made. Nice in snug in the heel, and just the rifht amount of room for the toes. This is still the best light weight trainer and racer. (Write a review) (Reply to this review) |

| Best DS Trainer yet
(2009-03-15) |
Rating | The title says it all. These are the best DS Trainers Asics has made so far. I've run in the last three versions, and these just blow them away. (Write a review) (Reply to this review) |

| Just like Asics used to make them. A great retro update.
(2009-01-27) |
Rating | These DS Trainers fit like an old pair of DS Trainer 7s I have around. There's good reason for that, since Asics has gone retro and used the last from that venerable version. In addition to the great fit, more recent DS Trainer users will find these shoes more flexible and with a little more cushion than recent versions.
Asics has also included rice husks into the sole to provide traction on wet roads. They used this "technology" in many of the shoes provided to the Asics athletes in the Beijing Olympics. (Write a review) (Reply to this review) |
