T5 Racer Shoe Review

Editor's Review:
The T5, like its earlier kin the T3 and T4, is an amazing racing flat and one of the best in the ultra-light category. The T5 is very flexible, responsive, and light.
What else could you want in a flat? Good traction in the rain? Yes, the T5 has a decent tread. Comfortable and breathable upper? Also built into the T5. Long-lasting tread? OK, you won't find that in this pair of shoes, but then you shouldn't expect that in a flat this light. I do wish the Brooks hadn't made the upper so bright, but that is a minor complaint.

| Simply the best
(2008-07-18) | Rating | These are the best racing flats you can buy. Nothing matches them for comfort, lightness, flexibility, responsiveness, and even looks.
People with really narrow feet might not like their fit because they have plenty of room in the forefoot, but the heel is nice and snug and you won't experience any slippage at all.
Brooks makes great shoes, and these are certainly one of their best. (Write a review) (Reply to this review) |

| Best racing flat available.
(2008-06-09) | Rating | The T5 Racers are by far the best racing flats available. They are as light as they come, very flexible, close-to-the-road, and responsive. If you aren't used to super-light flats or are heavy, then be careful with these shoes.
These are the closest thing possible to running barefoot. (Write a review) (Reply to this review) |
