History

Everything the Polar S625X displays is also recorded at intervals you define. The recording intervals can be every 5, 15, or 60 seconds. Just like all of us, the S625X has a limited memory, so the more frequently the S625X records the available data the quicker it will run out of memory. Remember, that in addition to these recording intervals, the S625x will record the data each time you press the lap button or whenever the autolap feature triggers a lap. Consequently, if you are not planning on using Polar's software, there is no need to choose a recording frequency of more than 60 seconds. If, on the other hand, you are using Polar's training software and you are running a series of short intervals, then you may want to choose recording intervals of 5 seconds. If the S625X runs out of memory during a run, it will simply stop recording data. Consequently, you will want purge the S625X's memory from time to time.   [top]

Other Advance Features

If you are a triathlete, then the Polar S625X may be the perfect device. Optional bicycle speed, cadence, and power output sensors are available, making the S625X just as useful to cyclists as it is for runners. Please note that we did not test any of the cycling options or functions.   [top]
