Wind!

I ran an out-and-back 18.5 miler today heading south into an incredibly strong breeze. The "out" portion of this run goes generally uphill, so between the hills and wind I slogged through some slow miles on the way out. At some points, when I was running along the top of a ridge I felt like almost came to a complete stop when an especially strong gust would stand me up. I was averaging close to 8:00 miles on the way out, but managed close to 7:00 miles on the way back for and aver pace of 7:29.

I didn't get a run in yesterday due to guests and other holiday events getting in the way.
